| Advanced vertical and horizontal angle rescue rope techniques adapted to both confined space and nonconfined space applications form the core of this course. Students are taught how to build multiple rescue systems for a given rescue incident. In addition, they are taught how to extricate, package, and rescue a patient in a safe and efficient manner. In addition a rescue incident management system is taught and used to manage the rescue effort. This course makes extensive use of hands-on training by utilizing all types of rescue equipment in multiple scenario driven field exercises. | |
